Untitled Document SOCIAL/HOSPITALITY MINISTRY To mission of the Social Committee is to nurture warm, supportive friendship and healthy relationships among church members. Social Committee Coordinator:
Mary Greaves |  | Responsibilities: The social committee performs the following duties, among others: - Promoting and facilitating social fellowship among church members.
- Organizing different social and recreational activities for church members such as picnics and banquets
- Caring for one another including spiritual nurturing through Bible study and prayer in order to be able to really love and care for others.
- Serving as hosts and hostesses for different Church events.
| Hospitality Committee The mission of the Hospitality Committee is to show God's love to the Westmount members and visitors and fostering true Christian hospitality grounded in God-given ability to love and care for others. | Hospitality Coordinator: Brenda Downs Assistants: 1. Patricia Ralph 2. Joyce Jackson
|  | Responsibilities: - Taking care of visitors, including ushering them into the church, ensuring that visitors are greeted with a warm hug and smile, providing them with a hospitality present or Sabbath meal and other activities for which make them feel cared.
- Caring for new members to ensure that they find their niche and integrate well in the fellowship of the church, including through special fellowship dinners for new members, visitation and/ or the assignment of a special friend or "spiritual helper."
- Promoting and supporting various membership building activities.
- Keeping the pastoral staff abreast of sick or missing members.
