CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Mission Statement

Uniting the home, the school, and the church in oder to provide Adventist Christian Education for the children and to assisting parents in their endeavor of fostering the development of the whole child - "the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers".

Responsibilities:

• Promotion of Christian education and to plan, in cooperation with the pastor, periodic programmes or services that emphasize the values of Christian education.
• Encouraging Seventh-day Adventist homes to take their children to Adventist schools, colleges, or universities, and to suggest possible solutions to problems.
• Maintaining contact with students from the church who are in attendance at Adventist or other schools away from the home church.
• Encouraging members who have no school-age children to provide financial aid for needy Seventh-day Adventist students.
• Maintaining an up-to-date census of all the children and youth of the church.
